Un año más, Filmoteca Española se suma al Madrid Design Festival para mostrar que sus archivos son mucho más que películas. Entre sus colecciones conviven objetos de pre-cine, materiales de dirección artística, carteles, material gráfico destinado tanto a la promoción como a la creación del mito alrededor de las películas, además de un valioso fondo documental y de revistas.
El festival se convierte así en una invitación a descubrir cómo diseño y cine dialogan desde siempre: dos mundos creativos que avanzan juntos, entre tecnología, arte y emoción.
Once again, the Spanish Film Archive joins the Madrid Design Festival to show that its archives are much more than films. Within its collections coexist pre-cinema objects, art direction materials, posters, and graphic materials intended both for promotion and for the creation of the myth surrounding films, alongside a valuable collection of documents and magazines.
The festival thus becomes an invitation to discover how design and cinema have always been in dialogue: two creative worlds that move forward together, shaped by technology, art, and emotion.
