Exposición accesible para personas con discapacidad visual
Castilla-La Mancha es uno de los mayores referentes de artesanía en nuestro país. Sus técnicas, elaboraciones y materiales han ido evolucionando gracias a la multiculturalidad del territorio a lo largo del tiempo, dando numerosas familias de oficios y tradiciones muy arraigados en la región. Una herencia cultural que avanza en el tiempo, sin perder su identidad.
Como proyecto invitado de Madrid Design Festival 2024, se presenta esta muestra cuya selección de piezas transmite la pluralidad y la vanguardia de la artesanía contemporánea castellano-manchega y proyecta la efervescencia creativa de una región donde sus creadores investigan sobre nuevos materiales, técnicas y diseños que beben de tradiciones e influencias centenarias.
Más concretamente, se presenta una indagación sobre los vasos comunicantes entre música, imagen y estética, surgida de la necesidad de borrar fronteras entre disciplinas y crear, reformular, profesionalizar y visibilizar, pero, sobre todo, materializar con el objetivo de interpretar la contemporaneidad. Partiendo de la rigidez de un espacio rectangular, se busca completamente lo opuesto: el movimiento (del viento), la rotación (del molino), un potente contenido visual (del paisaje) y una fusión de todo ello para generar contenido y continente.
El espacio es fruto del proyecto del Gobierno de Castilla-La Mancha y de su compromiso con la artesanía regional, a través de su marca LEGADO ARTESANO, que está realizando potentes acciones nacionales e internacionales para dar a conocer la artesanía regional, sus oficios artesanos, y sus guardianes de este legado que se ha trasmitido durante generaciones.
Entre los autores participantes encontramos a Aitor Saraiba, Wool Dreamers, Fernando Garcés, Fernando Alcalde o Marian Delgado; y el montaje audiovisual corre a cargo de Eugenio Recuenco.
Castilla La Mancha is one of the most important references of craftsmanship in our country. Its techniques, elaborations and materials have evolved, thanks to the multiculturalism of the territory over time, giving rise to numerous families of crafts and traditions deeply rooted in the region. A cultural heritage that advances over time, without losing its identity.
As a guest project of Madrid Design Festival 2024, this exhibition is presented with a selection of pieces that conveys the plurality and avant-garde of contemporary craftsmanship from Castilla-La Mancha and projects the creative effervescence of a region where its creators research new materials, techniques and designs that draw on centuries-old traditions and influences.
More specifically, it presents an enquiry into the communicating vessels between music, image and aesthetics, arising from the need to erase the borders between disciplines and to create, reformulate, professionalise and make visible, but above all, to materialise, with the aim of interpreting contemporaneity. Starting from the rigidity of a rectangular space, the project seeks the complete opposite: the movement (of the wind), the rotation (of the windmill), a powerful visual content (of the landscape) and a fusion of all this to generate content and continent.
Among the participating authors we find Aitor Saraiba, Wool Dreamers, Fernando Garcés, Fernando Alcalde and Marian Delgado; and the audiovisual editing is the work of Eugenio Recuenco.
