CES Design, Centro Superior de Diseño y Arte Digital, llega a Madrid Design Festival 2026 para demostrar que el diseño no solo se estudia: se vive. Especializada en diseño gráfico, interiores, producto y arte digital, la escuela trabaja con una metodología práctica y colaborativa, donde el alumnado aprende haciendo proyectos reales con enfoque en innovación, sostenibilidad e impacto social.
Bajo el lema “Born to be Designer”, CES Design presenta en Fiesta Design (19, 20 y 21 de febrero) un programa 100 % experiencial:
• Masterclasses y workshops de gráfico e interiores, con mini proyectos reales.
• CES Design Challenge, un reto colectivo para imaginar intervenciones urbanas y sociales en Madrid.
• Talleres abiertos y Design Jams para que cualquier persona, tenga o no experiencia, pueda crear en solo dos horas.
• Una exposición viva de proyectos de estudiantes, guiada por ellos mismos, que convierte el espacio en un laboratorio de talento emergente.
Más que participar en el festival, CES Design crea un campus efímero donde el público está invitado a una sola cosa: diseñar.
PROGRAMACIÓN
Día 1: Fundamentos y práctica
11:30 h – 12:30 h: Masterclass “El diseño como herramienta transformadora”
Introducción a la filosofía del diseño, conectando con el espíritu de “rediseñar el mundo” del MDF y mostrando cómo el diseño impacta en lo social, ambiental y funcional, tanto en gráfico como en interiores.

12:30 h – 14:00 h: Workshop “De la idea a la realidad”
Taller práctico en el que los participantes trabajan en mini proyectos por equipos, diseñando un pequeño espacio interior mediante bocetos, distribución, selección de materiales y luz. Una experiencia para “tocar con las manos” los conceptos del interiorismo, con el acompañamiento de alumnado de CES Design.

15:30 h – 19:30 h: Workshop “CES Design Challenge: Design Sprint. Soluciones innovadoras”
Taller de diseño gráfico cuyo objetivo es generar y prototipar soluciones creativas para los desafíos del CES Design Challenge en tiempo limitado.
Ponentes: Profesores CES Design
19:30 h – 20:30 h: Foro “Tendencias del diseño”
Reflexión inspiradora entre profesionales del diseño gráfico y de interiores sobre tendencias emergentes, sostenibilidad, tecnología y diseño social.

20:30 h – 21:00 h: Visita “Born to be Designers”
Recorrido guiado por estudiantes para conocer su exposición de trabajos.
Día 2: Innovación, colaboración y retos
11:00 h – 13:00 h: Design Challenge interdisciplinar
Reto por equipos mixtos (gráfico + interiores + alumnado CES Design) para diseñar un espacio público o comunitario con impacto social. Presentación ante un jurado que otorgará el Premio CES Design.

13:00 h – 14:00 h: Masterclass “El genio creativo liberado por la IA”
Cómo delegar tareas mecánicas y potenciar la parte estratégica e innovadora del diseño gracias a la IA.
Ponente: Profesor/a CES Design
15:30 h – 16:30 h: Masterclass “Del lienzo al algoritmo: cómo hacer que tu arte llegue lejos”
Masterclass centrada en innovación y tecnología, redes sociales, marca personal y creatividad.
Ponente invitado CES Design
16:30 h – 20:30 h: Workshop “Gráfica salvaje: explora lo inexplorado”
Experimentación con técnicas no tradicionales: diseño generativo, tipografía variable, arte digital interactivo y mezcla de procesos manuales y digitales.

20:30 h – 21:00 h: Visita “Born to be Designers”
Exposición guiada por alumnado.
Día 3: Playground interactivo: fiesta, diseño y tú
11:00 h – 12:30 h: Masterclass “La cultura del diseño”
Cómo el diseño transforma vidas y cómo incorporarlo a lo cotidiano para fomentar una mentalidad creativa.
Ponente: Invitado CES Design
12:30 h – 14:00 h: Workshop “Para que algo pase, primero hay que imaginarlo”
Taller para familias y jóvenes futuros diseñadores, centrado en imaginar futuros posibles desde el diseño.

15:30 h – 17:00 h: “Design Jam I: El hackathon de diseño relámpago”
Equipos que desarrollan una propuesta en tiempo récord dentro de las disciplinas de gráfico e interiores.

17:00 h – 18:00 h: “Design Jam II: Exhibición y votación pública”
Presentación de resultados, votación del público y entrega del premio.

18:00 h – 21:00 h: “This is it, come to our party”
Cierre festivo del programa.
CES Design, the Higher Center for Design and Digital Art, arrives at Madrid Design Festival 2026 to show that design is not only studied: it is lived. Specialized in graphic design, interiors, product and digital art, the school works with a highly practical and collaborative methodology, where students learn by doing real projects with a focus on innovation, sustainability and social impact.
Under the motto “Born to be Designer”, CES Design presents at Fiesta Design (February 19, 20 and 21) a 100% experiential program:
– Masterclasses and workshops in graphic and interior design with real mini-projects.
– The CES Design Challenge, a collective challenge to imagine urban and social interventions for Madrid.
– Open workshops and Design Jams so anyone, with or without experience, can create in two hours.
– A living exhibition of student projects, guided by the students themselves, turning the space into a laboratory of emerging talent.
More than simply participating in the festival, CES Design creates a small ephemeral campus where the public is invited to do just one thing: design.

Day 1: Fundamentals and Practice
11:30–12:30: Masterclass “Design as a Transformative Tool”
An introduction to the philosophy of design, connecting with MDF’s spirit of “redesigning the world,” and showing how design impacts social, environmental and functional dimensions in both graphic and interior design.
Speaker: CES Design Professor
12:30–14:00: Workshop “From Idea to Reality”
A hands-on workshop where participants work in teams on mini-projects, designing a small interior space (a room, a pop-up, a corner) using sketches, layout, materials, lighting and more. A practical way to “touch” interior design concepts, encourage collaboration and learn techniques used by professionals, accompanied by CES Design students.

15:30–19:30: Workshop “CES Design Challenge: Design Sprint – Innovative Solutions”
A graphic design workshop aimed at generating and prototyping creative solutions for the challenges proposed in the CES Design Challenge, in a limited time that pushes participants to apply their graphic skills.
19:30–20:30: Design Forum “Design Trends”
An inspiring reflection among graphic and interior design professionals on emerging trends, sustainability, technology and social design, positioning CES Design as a school fully connected to today’s design landscape.

20:30–21:00: Visit Our Talent – Born to Be Designers
A guided visit by our students to the exhibition of their work.
Day 2: “Innovation, Collaboration and Challenges”
11:00–13:00: Interdisciplinary Design Challenge
A team challenge (graphic + interiors + CES Design students) to design a public or community space (a neighborhood area, a park, a collaborative space). Brainstorming sessions help generate proposals with real social impact.
Teams will present the results to a jury that will select the best proposal and award the CES Design Prize.

13:00–14:00: Masterclass “The Creative Genius Unleashed by AI”
Learning how to delegate the mundane and focus on what is strategic, conceptual and truly innovative. AI is not here to replace designers; it is here to free the creative genius within you.

15:30–16:30: Masterclass “From Canvas to Algorithm: How to Make Your Art Go Far”
A session focused on innovation and technology: how to find your style, the importance of social media for building a personal brand through creativity and how to compete in today’s market.

16:30–20:30: Workshop “Wild Graphics: Explore the Unexplored”
Participants experiment with non-traditional techniques: generative design, variable typography, interactive digital art and hybrid manual-digital processes.

A guided visit by our students to the exhibition of their work.
Day 3: “Interactive Playground: Fiesta, Design and You”
11:00–12:30: Masterclass “The Culture of Design”
Discover how design changes lives and how to integrate design thinking into everyday life while nurturing a creative mindset.

A workshop for families and young future designers focused on graphic and interior design, imagining desirable futures.

A fast-paced team jam with set rules, where participants develop a proposal in graphic and interior design to present in record time. A creativity-under-pressure experience resulting in bold prototypes.

Teams present their work from the Design Jam, and we announce the winner following a public vote.
