En Ignorancia Artificial, Elisava Madrid explora los errores de la inteligencia artificial como espacios de oportunidad. Allí donde los sistemas no llegan, se abren posibilidades para crear nuevas herramientas, nuevas estéticas y nuevas formas de autonomía creativa. Una conferencia sobre fallar mejor, diseñar desde el límite y recuperar agencia frente a sistemas cada vez más cerrados.
La charla está impartida por Pau Aleikum Garcia, director del Máster en IA Aplicada a las Artes y al Diseño de Elisava Madrid.
Pau Aleikum Garcia trabaja en la intersección entre las artes, el diseño y la tecnología, explorando el impacto de las tecnologías de la información en la sociedad.
Hace más de una década fundó Domestic Data Streamers, un equipo interdisciplinar de 40 profesionales dedicado a analizar y visualizar el impacto social de la tecnología. Juntos han desarrollado más de 400 proyectos en más de 60 países, colaborando con organizaciones como las Naciones Unidas, ACNUR o Citizen Lab, y exhibiendo su trabajo en instituciones como el MoMA, el Barbican Centre o la Academia de Ciencias de California.
Actualmente dirige el Máster en IA Aplicada a las Artes y al Diseño en Elisava Madrid y Elisava Barcelona, y es profesor invitado en instituciones como la New York School of Visual Arts, el Hong Kong Design Institute, el Royal College of Art de Londres y la Barcelona School of Economics.
In Artificial Ignorance, Elisava Madrid explores the errors of artificial intelligence as spaces of opportunity. Where systems fall short, new possibilities emerge to create tools, aesthetics, and forms of creative autonomy. A lecture about failing better, designing from the edge, and reclaiming agency in the face of increasingly closed systems.
The talk is delivered by Pau Aleikum Garcia, Director of the Master’s Degree in AI Applied to Arts and Design at Elisava Madrid.
Pau Aleikum Garcia works at the intersection of arts, design, and technology, exploring the impact of information technologies on society.
More than a decade ago, he founded Domestic Data Streamers, an interdisciplinary team of 40 professionals focused on examining the social impact of technology. Together, they have completed over 400 projects in more than 60 countries, collaborating with organizations such as the United Nations, UNHCR, and Citizen Lab, and exhibiting work at institutions including MoMA, the Barbican Centre, and the California Academy of Sciences.
He currently directs the Master’s in AI Applied to Arts and Design at Elisava Madrid and Elisava Barcelona, and is a visiting professor at the New York School of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Design Institute, Royal College of Art London, and the Barcelona School of Economics.
