Madrid Blooms es un congreso de diseño floral organizado por Madrid Flower School y Flower House que tendrá lugar los días 20, 21 y 22 de febrero en el Instituto Libre de Enseñanza (ILE), en el contexto de Fiesta Design.
Reúne a ocho diseñadoras destacadas: Nicolette Owen de Nicolette Camille Floral (New York, EEUU), Frida Kim de Frida Kim Flowers (London, UK), Holly Chapple de Holly Chapple Flowers (Virginia, EEUU), Lucia Milan de Lucia Milan Flower Studio (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Louise Worner de Studio Yorin Ikebana (Bruselas, Bélgica), Inés Urquijo de Inés Urquijo Taller de Flores (Madrid, España), Alejandra Romero de Alejandra Romero Floral Studio (Granada, España), Milena Orlandi de Estudio Seiva y Madrid Flower School (Londrina, Brazil).
Íconos del diseño mundial trabajarán en vivo y hablarán sobre su estilo, el negocio, tendencias y técnicas de vanguardia. Escuchar es una cosa, pero diseñar de la mano de estos referentes del arte floral será una experiencia inolvidable y un aprendizaje que marcará la forma de enfrentar los diseños.
Los floristas necesitamos espacios donde exponer puntos de vista y hablar sobre nuestras inquietudes. Madrid Blooms será el ambiente perfecto para intercambiar conocimientos, colaborar y crear redes con otros diseñadores.
El congreso se dividirá en tres días:
Día 1 | Diseñar con sabiduría
Desde el Ikebana hasta su aplicación en arte contemporáneo. Cómo las técnicas milenarias nos permiten prodigios en el arte contemporáneo.

Las bases del arte japonés aplicados al diseño de hoy.
Sesión 2 | Milena Orlandi, EL CAMINO HACIA EL DISEÑO MINIMALISTA
Creatividad, aprendizajes y procesos de diseño para ver las flores desde otra perspectiva.
Sesión 3 | Frida Kim, IMPACTO Y DELICADEZA EN EL DISEÑO CONTEMPORÁNEO
Cuando la maestría en el diseño lleva a la flor al siguiente nivel.
TALLERES: Los asistentes podrán asistir a talleres con las diseñadoras
Día 2 | Procesos creativos para triunfar
¿Cuáles son los secretos de las grandes floristas? ¿Cómo conseguir bodas de destino? O simplemente, ¿cómo despachar un arreglo que destile arte?

Día 3 | La magia del volumen
Manos a la obra desde primera hora de la mañana. Trabaja en una instalación con tu diseñador en un espacio designado. Aprende técnicas nuevas con excelentes materiales.Proyección, montaje y diseño de instalaciones florales en los espacios designados en el Instituto Libre de Enseñanza.

Madrid Blooms is a floral design congress organized by Madrid Flower School and Flower House that will take place on February 20, 21 and 22 at the Instituto Libre de Enseñanza (ILE), in the context of Fiesta Design.
It brings together eight outstanding designers: Nicolette Owen of Nicolette Camille Floral (New York, USA), Frida Kim of Frida Kim Flowers (London, UK), Holly Chapple of Holly Chapple Flowers (Virginia, USA), Lucia Milan of Lucia Milan Flower Studio (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Louise Worner of Studio Yorin Ikebana (Brussels, Belgium), Inés Urquijo of Inés Urquijo Taller de Flores (Madrid, Spain), Alejandra Romero of Alejandra Romero Floral Studio (Granada, Spain), Milena Orlandi of Estudio Seiva and Madrid Flower School (Londrina, Brazil).
Global design icons will work live and talk about their style, the business, trends and cutting-edge techniques. Listening is one thing, but designing with these floral art referents will be an unforgettable experience and a learning experience that will mark the way to face the designs.
Florists need spaces where to expose points of view and talk about our concerns. Madrid Blooms will be the perfect environment to exchange knowledge, collaborate and create networks with other designers.
The congress will be divided into three days:

Session 3 | Frida Kim, IMPACT AND DELICACY IN CONTEMPORARY DESIGN
When mastery in design takes the flower to the next level.
WORKSHOPS: Attendees will be able to attend workshops with the designers
Day 2 | Creative Processes for Success
What are the secrets of the great florists? How to achieve destination weddings? Or simply, how to deliver an arrangement that exudes artistry?

Day 3 | The Magic of Volume
Get to work first thing in the morning. Work on an installation with your designer in a designated space. Learn new techniques with excellent materials, screening, installation and design of floral installations in designated spaces at the Instituto Libre de Enseñanza.
