¿Cómo actuamos ante una emergencia en la que hay que realojar a centenares de personas? ¿Cómo se pueden construir refugios de forma rápida y barata?
En este taller de Chiquitectos en Fiesta Design, conoceremos la obra desarrollada por el arquitecto japonés Shigeru Ban ante catástrofes como el tsunami del 2011 o conflictos bélicos como el de Ucrania. Inspirándonos en sus sencillos pero eficaces diseños, construiremos maquetas con materiales reciclados. Se trata de un taller en que disfrutar en familia con un objetivo común y donde tomar conciencia de la importancia de las necesidades básicas del habitar.
Chiquitectos es un proyecto lúdico y educativo para despertar en los niños, niñas y jóvenes el interés por la arquitectura, el entorno, la ciudad y el desarrollo sostenible. Uno de sus objetivos es contribuir a crear ciudadanos y ciudadanas participativas y responsables de sus propias decisiones, capaces de actuar para cambiar el estado de las cosas.Adoptan el juego como única estrategia para explorar y aprender.
How do we act in an emergency in which hundreds of people have to be relocated? How can we build shelters quickly and cheaply?
In this Chiquitectos workshop at Fiesta Design, we will learn about the work developed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban in the face of catastrophes such as the 2011 tsunami or war conflicts such as the one in Ukraine. Inspired by his simple but effective designs, we will build models with recycled materials. This is a workshop to enjoy as a family with a common goal and where to become aware of the importance of the basic needs of living.
Chiquitectos is a playful and educational project to awaken in children and young people an interest in architecture, the environment, the city and sustainable development. One of its objectives is to contribute to the creation of participative citizens who are responsible for their own decisions, capable of acting to change the state of things, adopting play as the only strategy to explore and learn.
