El agua de Solán de Cabras que bebemos recorre un fascinante viaje. Cada gota tiene su origen en las lluvias que se produjeron hace más de 3600 años.
Tras su filtrado natural, atravesando lentamente capas de roca caliza y sedimentos jurásicos, el agua se enriquece de elementos minerales e iones y así, brota en el manantial hasta llegar a nosotros o volver a su cauce natural, el río Cuervo. Un viaje en constante movimiento, que ha inspirado la instalación diseñada por el estudio valenciano MUT.
Esta obra resalta la pureza y fluidez del agua, integrándola en un contexto vanguardista que celebra su transformación y adaptabilidad. Con un diseño geométrico contemporáneo, iluminación sobria y una atmósfera moderna, la instalación invita a sumergirse en un espacio que simboliza el flujo continuo del agua como metáfora del cambio.
A través de luz, sonido y formas, se reflexiona sobre la conexión entre lo esencial y la modernidad, mostrando cómo el agua puede integrarse en la vida urbana sin perder su esencia.
The water of Solán de Cabras that we drink embarks on a fascinating journey. Each drop originates from rainfall that fell more than 3,600 years ago.
Through its natural filtration, slowly passing through layers of limestone and Jurassic sediments, the water becomes enriched with minerals and ions. It then emerges from the spring, reaching us or returning to its natural course, the Cuervo River. A journey in constant motion, which has inspired the installation designed by the Valencian studio MUT.
This work highlights the purity and fluidity of water, integrating it into an avant-garde context that celebrates its transformation and adaptability. With a contemporary geometric design, subtle lighting, and a modern atmosphere, the installation invites visitors to immerse themselves in a space that symbolizes the continuous flow of water as a metaphor for change.
Through light, sound, and shapes, the installation reflects on the connection between the essential and modernity, showing how water can integrate into urban life without losing its essence.
