Justino Del Casar
Nacido en Madrid en 1971 y formado en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios Artísticos de Toledo, Justino Del Casar desarrolla su práctica en Valencia, donde crea piezas simbólicas y funcionales que combinan artesanía, reflexión y experimentación. Su trabajo parte de materiales desechables —como boletos, documentos o embalajes— transformados en objetos atemporales que cuestionan la lógica del consumo y reivindican la permanencia del ser humano frente a la fugacidad de lo material.
En FORMA, presentará su trabajo junto a Andrés Mariño Maza, en una colaboración que une dos visiones complementarias del diseño contemporáneo. Ambos comparten una mirada basada en la honestidad material, la coherencia formal y la búsqueda de una belleza esencial, donde cada pieza es el resultado de un proceso reflexivo y manual que trasciende lo cotidiano.
Born in Madrid in 1971 and trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Toledo, Justino Del Casar develops his practice in Valencia, where he creates symbolic and functional pieces that combine craftsmanship, reflection, and experimentation. His work begins with discarded materials—such as tickets, documents, or packaging—transformed into timeless objects that question the logic of consumption and reaffirm the endurance of the human over the transience of the material.
At FORMA, he will present his work alongside Andrés Mariño Maza, in a collaboration that brings together two complementary visions of contemporary design. Both share an approach grounded in material honesty, formal coherence, and the pursuit of essential beauty, where each piece is the result of a reflective, handcrafted process that transcends the everyday.
