La propuesta para los Open Studios de Tetuán, enmarcada en el programa del MDF 2025, es la exposición Paisaje con/en casa. La iniciativa reúne a diseñadores y artistas en torno al anhelo atávico del refugio personal, al deseo de vivir en el paraíso soñado.
El punto de partida de esta exposición son los cuadros decorativos tradicionalmente subestimados, que suelen adornar hogares modestos y representan casas rodeadas de naturaleza: bosques, lagos, ríos y montañas nevadas. A partir de esta inspiración, THL Space se transformará en una instalación inmersiva donde los creadores evocarán esas emociones y paisajes soñados que residen en el imaginario colectivo.
Artistas participantes: Guillermo Trapiello, Elena Blasco, Nina Mür, Bárbara Long, Ciuco Gutiérrez, Antonio Rojas, Esther Mengual, Manuel Rufo, Iria Martínez y Marta Pascual.
Sobre THL Space
THL Space es un espacio creado por la periodista Teresa Herrero y el artista visual Ciuco Gutiérrez, con el propósito de fomentar dinámicas de conocimiento en torno al diseño y el arte. Además, este lugar es la sede del magazine online Teresa Herrero Living.
The proposal for the Open Studios in Tetuán, part of the MDF 2025 program, is the exhibition Paisaje con/en casa (Landscape with/in Home). This initiative brings together designers and artists to explore the timeless yearning for personal refuge and the dream of living in a paradise.
The starting point for this exhibition is the traditionally underrated decorative paintings often found in modest homes, depicting houses surrounded by nature: forests, lakes, rivers, and snowy mountains. Inspired by this concept, THL Space will transform into an immersive installation where creators evoke the emotions and dreamlike landscapes that inhabit the collective imagination.

THL Space is a venue created by journalist Teresa Herrero and visual artist Ciuco Gutiérrez, with the aim of fostering knowledge dynamics around design and art. Additionally, this space serves as the headquarters of the online magazine Teresa Herrero Living.
