El 13 de febrero se celebra el primer aniversario de La Breve, y se ha decidido hacerlo hablando del amor. No del amor romántico —para eso ya está San Valentín— sino del amor por el diseño: las ideas que inspiran, los proyectos que hacen suspirar… o jurar en silencio.
El evento contará con la participación de varios profesionales que compartirán sus historias de pasión y desafíos con el oficio. Desde los primeros encuentros con el diseño, hasta enamoramientos fulminantes con proyectos que parecían perfectos, y desengaños creativos que, vistos en retrospectiva, resultan casi divertidos. Se hablará del cariño profundo por el proceso, incluso cuando se vuelve caótico, de los momentos en los que el oficio abraza… y de los días en los que parece ignorar.
El objetivo es crear un espacio íntimo, ligero y lleno de verdad: una celebración de todo lo que apasiona, frustra y motiva a seguir creando. El aforo es limitado, para poder escucharse, reírse de sí mismos y recordar que este oficio es un romance largo y peculiar… pero que continúa porque aún hace vibrar.
On February 13, the first anniversary of La Breve is celebrated with a special focus on love. Not romantic love —Valentine’s Day already covers that— but the love for design: the ideas that inspire, the projects that make people sigh… or mutter under their breath.
The event will feature several professionals sharing their stories of passion and challenges with their craft. From first encounters with design, to whirlwind infatuations with seemingly perfect projects, and creative disappointments that, in hindsight, are almost funny. The discussion will touch on the deep affection for the process, even when it becomes chaotic, the moments when the craft embraces, and the days when it seems to ignore.
The aim is to create an intimate, light, and truthful space: a celebration of what excites, frustrates, and motivates to keep creating. Attendance is limited, offering the chance to listen, laugh at oneself, and remember that this craft is a long and peculiar romance… but it continues because it still sparks joy.
