La Comunidad de Madrid es la segunda región industrial de España en términos de valor añadido bruto: más de 20.000 empresas integran al sector industrial de la región, el segundo con más peso en su economía. La participación activa de la Comunidad de Madrid en nueva edición de MDF es una muestra de su apuesta por la capacidad de transformación y generación de riqueza del diseño industrial.
La Dirección General de Promoción Económica e Industria de la Comunidad de Madrid y MDF24 reunirán a empresarios y especialistas del diseño industrial.
En esta ocasión, intervendrán en el encuentro Carolina Blázquez y Jaime Martínez Muñoz.
The Community of Madrid is the second industrial region of Spain in terms of gross added value: more than 20,000 companies make up the region’s industrial sector, the second most important in its economy. The active participation of the Community of Madrid in the new edition of MDF is a sign of its commitment to the capacity of industrial design to transform and generate wealth.
The Directorate General of Economic Promotion and Industry of the Community of Madrid and MDF24 will bring together entrepreneurs and specialists in industrial design.
On this occasion, Carolina Blázquez and Jaime Martínez Muñoz will take part in the meeting.
Carolina Blázquez, Head of innovation & Sustainability at ECOALF, has a degree in Fashion Design from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Children’s Fashion from the Marangoni Institute in Milan. After extensive experience in the fashion world she joins ECOALF as creative director and in 2017 becomes director of innovation & sustainability, using innovation as a tool that allows me to create solutions that generate a positive impact on the planet.
Jaime Martínez Muñoz, General Director of Economic and Industrial Promotion of the Government of the Community of Madrid, holds a double degree in Economics and Business Administration from CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. He received the San Vicente Ferrer Research Award in Economics and has completed his training in national and international institutions, including CUNEF, the London School of Economics and Political Science and INSEAD. He has 9 years of experience in the private sector, working in multinational companies. First as a Public Sector auditor at Grant Thornton, and later as a strategic consultant at Accenture Strategy, executing projects of digital transformation, development of new business models, competitive intelligence, and efficiency captures. He has worked for clients in various sectors, including telecommunications, energy and public administrations, and in different geographies, such as Portugal, United Kingdom, Peru and Ecuador. He has combined his work collaborating as an analyst in the economic press, such as Expansión, La Información or Negocios TV, as well as in national and international think tanks. In 2021, he joined the cabinet of the Consejería de Economía, Hacienda y Empleo de la Comunidad de Madrid, as an economic advisor. In November 2023, he was appointed General Director of Economic and Industrial Promotion.
